Retina holes

I have a question about my vision. I am 39 years old and have keratconous in both eyes and had a cross linking treatment for my right eye 17/12/2009.Recentely I have been told that I have Peripheral retina degeneration (Lattice type) in both eyes.10 days ago I started to see black dot and one cobweb in my treated eye and the dot becomes bigger now .It appears from one location and moves quickly towards the top right corner of the computer screen when i look at the computer screen or sunlight. It only affects my right eye. It causes me no pain but is now appearing more regularly. I visited a retinal specialist and he said you have 2 big holes in top of retina and other small holes around the circumference of it and he could not decide to treat it with laser or not. I don’t know if there is any link between the cross linking treatment and developing this dot especially I am thinking to do my left eye next week as my vision getting worse every month. Please I ask your advice about this black dot if it is a sign of tear in my retina or just a floater. I would add that I usually see floaters in both eyes when I look the sunlight or white background. Your help is appreciated

Thanks a lot for you quick response .
Today I went to retinal specialist and he decided to go for laser treatment to seal these two big holes and other small holes but I was affraid to accept it as he said there is a risk of developing a tear during the healing and then he decided to give one month more to keep wathcing it.I know you have already spent time to answer my questions but I would be gartefull for any advice if I will do it or not and how much the risk of that .I do not have any tear at the moment just holes
Many  Thanks

1. You will need to ask your cornea surgeon but I do not think CClinking will have effect on retina.
2. You cannot tell if a single floater is a sign of a tear or just a harmless floater.

Thanks for reply and would understand if I can go for cross linking treatment or this can makes these holes bigger .is a single flaotar can be a sign of tear regardless of not having these shower of floaters or flashes.

1. your floater/tears not realted to corneal cross linking treatment.
2. you cannot distinguish between floaters that are and those that are not associated with retinal holes.  Generally if flashes and "showers" of floaters holes are more likely
