Retina thining/hole to be lasered!

Hi
Im 28 male, and have done LASEK 6 years a go. last week and during a football match, ball hit my eye and doctor's diagnosis was: "there is a thining region on your retina at 10 o'clock position and it should be lasered!
now I need to know if it is really emergency and in what level the case is dangerous!?
any one can help?

If the injury caused a retinal tear or acute hole, laser will help prevent a retinal detachment.  This is done in the ophthalmologist's office.  The procedure should be done if there is a retinal tear or hole; the laser will help seal the surrounding retina down and prevent fluid from getting under the retina and causing a detachment.  In that case, a much more aggressive surgery would be needed.

actually Im in a trip so I wanted to know if it is emergency to laser or I can fly back to my country in some weeks and have it done there..
The retina specialist's diagnosis was the retina became thinner, no retinal hole seen.
