Seeing blur while blinking

I have ptosis and astigmatism with some HOAs. When I look at a screen I see blur or tails coming out of it which disappear when I open my lid a little wider. That happen also when I blink. Is that usual? or it is due to ptosis?
Another thing I notice is that if i didn't open my lids wider and kept them as they were by default and with these tails my eyes get tired after about 15 minutes of reading on a screen, but if i opened my lids I could stay for 2 hours without feeling my eyes are tired!

First of all working on a computer or any video screen for long periods is tiring and can cause eye strain (but not damage) and dry/irritated eye.  When you blink or change lid position is does change the shape of the cornea some in your case for the better. The most common cause of this is astigmatism which means the cornea is not perfectly round but aspherical. It is not a disease. It can often be corrected with glasses. You would need to have a full medical eye exam with dilation and glasses test (Refraction) to determine the cause and if glasses would help. See a Eye MD ophthalmologist.
