Seroquel and eye problems

My 34 year old son's eye doctor said one of his eyes is getting so bad that he may require a cornea transplant.  He has been taking Seroquel 5-600 mg for 5 years.  Should this have any effect on the health of his eyes, as I have read that seroquel effects the eyes.

Thank you
Gen (Witey)

My question
I took my first dose of Seroquel XR last night and woke with small puffy area inside the 'bags'  under my eyes
they are still there 9 hours into the day - a non-work, no sun, low energy day

(the bags are normal, puffiness is normal when I cry) but usually the whole 'bag' is swollen not just a part.

They are not exactly the same size or in the same position, not red, itchy, hot or sensitive.  Didn't even know they were there until I shocked myself cleaning the bathroom mirror at 3pm ;)

If relevant:

Seroquel dose is too high I am practically sleep walking today and still want to close my eyes after a passed out nap
I also had a migraine and took 2 Aleve 8 hours ago (no impact on the 'puffs'.)
My doc and I have to get Zonegran out of my regimen (cognitive confusion, dangerously and abnormally thin)

any thoughts on the puffiness?

Thanks for any suggestions or ideas - doc is away for a week

Dear Witey,

I would recommend that you ask your son’s eye doctor for a diagnosis and information about his condition.  This would help to assist you in becoming more informed.

It should not affect the corneal transmplant.
