Can my vision get worse a few days after getting my new glasses?

Hello! I'm 25 years old, this is the first time I get glasses. I can see almost perfectly with my right eye (-0,5) my left eye has the problem (-1,75)

Here's what happened. I went to see an eye doctor about a week ago because I was having trouble focusing my vision, the doctor gave me a -1,25 prescription initially, with the test glass I could see clearly. I got the glasses next day, and noticed there was a difference on sharpness with my right eye.

I went back to the doctor, he did the eye exam again, and this time he told me I have -1,75. I thought to myself okay wonderful, now I'll see the same with both eyes. I made sure it was just as clear with both, got the glass exchanged yesterday, and today I see different again!

How is that possible? Again I don't see as clear with my left eye, as with my right one. I'm so annoyed, I noticed it when I went to Walmart and compared the signs at different distances, but even things at a close distance a see slightly less clear. It's not a huge difference, but I don't see the same with both eyes.

Any advice?

Thank you!

First of all both eyes do not necessarily see the same.  Most people have one eye that sees better "the dominant eye".  Second the glasses prescription (RX) says nothing about the health of the eye.  Third at age 25 your test for glasses should be done AFTER your eyes are dilated (post cylcoplegic refraction) lest they be made too strong or, as in your case, vary a lot. Sounds like you went to a 'mall doctor'.  Ideally you would see an Eye MD "ophthalmologist'   You have little choice now but to work it out with the mall doctor and the mall optical lest you lose what money you have already put into them. In the future, go to an EYE MD OPHTHALMOLOGIST for an exam.
