Yes an abrasion can leave a permament scar, a problem with recurrent erosions or unmask a pre-existing refractive error. Suggest you see a cornea specialize for a second opoinion.

Will do definitely but am I describing symptoms of a scar? Also why do I wake up in the morning with a clear vision?
Also I am applying Muro 128 every night.
Can a scar go away with PRK?
1. cannot diagnose scar without seeing eye
2. May be that the Muro 128 reduces the swelling overnight, it has sodium chlorid *saleine) in it and ***** fluid out of cornea
3. if scar is shallow and troublesome PRK can remove. Deep scars not so.

My injury left a very small haze hard to see if you don't know it's there. It's there but it's fading week after week. However the injury led to an irregular astigmatism. This is causing the slight blurry vision or ghosting.
My doc believes that once the haze is completely gone the cells might start to even out and reduce or eliminate the irregular astigmatism. This is what is causing my vision trouble at this time.
Do you agree that an irregular astigmatism caused by a corneal abrasion that left a scar or haze that is slowly improving, or going away, might vanish as well overtime?
