Detached particles? Is there somewhere i can read about that condition? And when you say this is normal for your eye condition, do you mean people with high myopia?

Specks of light are often caused by the detached particles of the retina in the eye. This is quite normal for your eye condition. But if happens that the spots become larger, it could be a sign that the retina tore a considerable amount and need to be evaluated by an eye doctor immediately.

Furthermore, it is also possible that the light flashes are caused by low blood pressure.
