Optimap Eye Exam of my 9 yr old myopic

My 9 yr old is myopic since 5 and wearing ortho-k for 2 years. On her  annual checkup this month, her eye dr checked and said no progression, healthy corneas. Looked at the Optomap images taken there and said no cataract and no glaucoma. But he said her "retinal stretch" on both eyes comparing to last years' photos are wider!  He said no tears on photos. He asked to schedule a dilated retinal exam in summer as Optomap only sees 80 percent of retina. He said she is growing!!! I am a bit concerned as a mother. She is 5 ft tall now and in puberty. Is the retinal stretch a bit comparing from pervious film unusual?

Retina stretch is not a diagnosis. You would need to ask the optom what he/she means or take her in for an Eye MD ophthalmologist to do a dilated retina exam.
