Solar Retinopathy years later

It has been 3 years since I looked at the sun for 20-40 seconds (very stupid I know) on a very hot day. The day later I went to a retinal specialist/optometrist and there was a yellow spot in both centres on my retina, no ''leaking fluid'' which I routinely went and checked again every 3 months for the last two years, no change whatsoever, the burn has ''settled'' as I was told. I still have the small scotomas in both centres. I'm asking, it's been 3 years - I can live with the scotomas, but will there be any other damage coming? Will I suddenly lose my vision or have something else happen due to it that hasn't begun yet? Basically asking if theres any hidden long-term effects I should expect. Will it give me other eye conditions? glaucoma? macular-degeneration? etc etc.... thankyou

Exam every 3 months for 2 years seems like a lot of money and waste of time for something that can't be treated.  Your solar maculopathy will not put you at risk for other common eye problems like glaucoma or age related macular degeneration.
