I recently noticed a dark after image like spot in the right outer corner of my eye when blinking or squinting. Any idea what this can be!?

Generally the retina being triggered by the pressure of the eyelids, but you should have a complete medical eye exam with Eye MD ophthalmologist since it is new.

Thank you for your response! I went to my dr, they dilated my eyes and she said everything looks great and not exactly sure what’s causing the issue. I noticed another arch like shadow in the bottom of my vision if I am laying down and looking at the ceiling. Again it’s only when I am blinking or straining my eyes. Do you think it can still be just the pull from the eyelids?
Eye strain no but blinking hard, rubbing the eye or looking in the extremes of gaze (way up, way down, etc) could cause momentary ghosting, light sensation, etc.
