Strabismology, Manifest Esotropia

Hi! I just underwent eye surgery last March 18 this year.. im in the process of healing.. my doctor told me that 80-90% of my eye problem will be treated but i went back to my ophthalmologist for a check up, she told me that 75% has been corrected and for that she is requiring me to undergo another operation.. my left eye is my problem.. my vision is blurred, i dont see people's faces when they are 10 meters away from me.. does ointment have to do with this..? because im putting eye drops and ointment at night.. my doctor did not explain to me what to expect next that is why im so confused now with my condition.. she told me that im now near sighted when i was not.. before the operation i can see very clearly.. my vision is 20/25.. its just that im complaining that i see doubled..
doctor, do you think its still safe to undergo another operation..?
i dont want to use prism glass, i want something that will make me feel and see better permanently..
contacts are useless since contacts will just be attached on the black of the eyes and there is a big possibility that  it will touch the side of my eyes since i have esotropia..
is Vision Therapy an option..?
my ophthalmologist-pediatric strabismology told me that optometrists are just giving false hopes when giving Vision Therapy.. i dont know who and what to believe..
Thank you so much for your help.. i will be very glad for any help that you could do..
Comments are welcome..

I cannot many of your questions since they require an exam. Ask for additional clarification from your present Eye MD. Consider getting a second opinion. The ointment should not be a factor. optometric visual therapy is expensive and not helpful.
