Strabismus and triple vision

I have had strabismus all my life. I recently have noticed my left eye turning out more and more frequently. I also have double vision but have learned to live with it. In my left eye, recently I have been experiencing double vision in that eye on top of the regular double vision I experience. Is this a cause for alarm?

This is not a cause for alarm.  However, you should consider seeing a strabismus specialist to have it fixed.

I have had three surgeries all ready to fix it (as a baby, as a toddler, and at age 8). I would love to correct it and make my eyes straight again, but isn't the success rate low since I have had the surgery so many times already?
