Eneven Eyes

My eyes are so noticably uneven.  its not the eye itself, its the eye socket.  My right eye seems to always be more open than my left.  and my eyelid on the left side is bigger than the other.

help?

Just some thoughts.  Sometimes one side of the face may develop slightly different from the other due to a few different reasons including tighter neck muscles on one side (torticollis).  To try to get some answers regarding your specific concerns, I would see an ophthalmologist that specialized in orbital and plastic reconstructive surgery.  Your concern is more common than you think and I have a family member with the same situation.  If it is very mild, most people won't notice, even though you might think they do.  For some more significant cases, surgery can sometimes be a helpful option.  If you find out what you actually have, please let us know.

See an eye MD, an ophthalmologist. He will make sure your eyes are healthy. He may refer you to an oculoplastic MD, to see if that doc can help you with the appearance of your eyes.

I am not a doctor--just trying to be helpful.

If the doctor can help you more, he will also answer.

I hope you find the help you need.
