Timing for cataract correction

My sight is getting worse each month...what is the physical harm in waiting to have the cataracts removes or should I do one eye and wait until the next eye gets too useless.  I am not insured for this work and need to not spend all my money it is not necessary......or will I go blind?

Not correcting your vision due to a refractive error will not lead to blindness.  However,  it could cause a traffic accident if the vision is not adequate for driving.

You need to discuss the timing of the surgery with you doctor.  You have not provided any information regarding your vision, how it affects your daily activities, etc.

I waited until I was blind in the first cataract eye.  Although my surgeon did a masterful job of hitting the target, his preferred measuring implements couldn't be used because they couldn't see through the cataract.
