Travel to India

I am 26 years old. I had flashes of light first time like one year ago and from then my eye started worsening.
I see a lot of  floaters. I had flashes some 5 times in this one year starting from feb 08.
I have been to Retina Asscociates in NJ for like 6 times and last time I visted them is in November 2008.
Intially they said Viterous Liquification but one day they finally in Nov-08 said may be PVD but its not completly detached yet.
I have lots of floates so many of them but I am kind of used to that now. I never had aby prescription for glasses untill now. I dont have problem seeing, I work on computer almost 10 hrs a day.

Recently I saw some flashes when I sneezed, this happend twice in feb 09. I have two questions.
-- Seeing flashes when I sneeze what does that mean.
-- I have to travell to india which is like 20hr flight from NJ is it advisable. (My eye presure is normal for the last 6 times i visited the Doc)

Vitreous liquificationa and PVD are mostly the same thing. The former causes the latter.

If you only have flashes with a hard sneeze it likely is not serious and not at all like flashes that occur with no eye movement. It can be due to pressure on globe from the eye muscles pulling on the eye suddenly.

Altitude changes on a commercial airliner are not a problem for PVDs. It's only when surgery has been done and air or gas put in the eye that it can be a problem.
