Visual snow or cataracts?

Is anyone familiar with this condition?

https://rarediseases.info.nih.gov/diseases/12062/visual-snow-syndrome

About a year ago I had most of these symptoms all of a sudden including anxiety. Some of them are similar to cataracts (seeing starburst and halos from bright lights). Would cataracts cause "flickering tiny dots" in the vision? I am still having trouble with bright lights. How does one know it's visual snow or cataracts?

See an ophthalmologist Eye MD    cataracts are easy to diagnose and very very common.  Visual snow is extremely rare. On my home page is a recent update on VS.

I did see a few eye doctors last year. A couple of them said my eyes were fine. There was a cataract specialist also gave me the ok until I told him my symptoms. He said my cataracts were miniscule and was surprised they affect my vision at all.
Okay so its not cataracts. Flickering tiny dots can be 'entopic phenomena" read about it on wikipedia.com
They are more like the dots on a out-of-tune TV, except must weaker. I notice them mostly when looking at solid colored walls or in darkness. It's not getting better or worse after a year. Anyway I will get my next annual check-up soon.

Thanks for the response.
Sure, best of luck
