What can I do to put an end to my headaches???

At age nineteen, I first started getting these headaches. At first they were immobilizing with not only pain but put me in to shock cause I cause I couldn't see. I had it looked into, was told my eyes magnified light. Few years later went into the military, they told me that my optic nerves were abnormally large. The only advice they could give was find a pair of sunglass that worked. But I can't obviously wear sunglasses twenty four seven. In light thats too intense all I am able to see is white (or what I call painful white). At the same time I can see shapes and textures of things in the dark. Sun light can give me insain migraines and dizziness and artificial light can make me sick in addition to what sunlight does. Now at the age of thirty, I can tell you I completely know what the interior of my optic nerves system feels like from the pain. What can I do to put an end to this. I am an artist, I paint and draw comic books. I fear going blind.  Please Help

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Dear MrBill489,

I would recommend that you seek the care of a neuro-ophthalmologist to confirm the diagnosis and treat the migraines. They sound as if they are affecting the quality of your life and you should definitely seek professional care for treatment.
