I had a PCO or actually a capsular plaque removed with YAG laser. My vision actually got worse afterwards. The doctor admitted to some pitting of the lens from the YAG laser but downplayed it and said that it would get better once the lens absorbs water. I can see semi ok but glare is super bad. Light coming thru a window, fluorescent lights, car headlights. Really any kind of light causes significant glare. I have a monofocal lens and there are starburst patterns around lights at night.
I went to Mexico today for a second opinion. They took some sort of scan of my eye that actually shows the pitting in my new new lens. The doctor said there is pitting and some people tolerate it and some don’t. What I see on the image is that the pitting is relatively close to the center of my lens. I think this is why it is so irritating to me.
I wanted to include an image from the scan but don’t see any way to add images. There are a number of pock marks in the lens slightly off from center.
Please help. Thanks
