What is the best IOL lens for cataract surgery for me?

I am having cataract surgery.  I am myopic (I can read things very close and very small print without glasses). I have a lot of astigmatism in one eye and some in the other.  I drive, play golf, watch tv/movies, read the paper.  I cannot decide between modified monovision (one at distance and one at intermediate) and monofocal set at distance.

I have mono vision. My right eye has distance lens following cataract surgery. My right eye can only see near and now I need surgery in that eye. I will continue with mono vision as I do not need glasses.

Bridaam: this is your 4th post and this one doesn't make sense.  You said you had surgery on the RE and it sees well at near. Then you say you need surgery on that eye again? What's with that? If you have surgery on the RE either LASIK or IOL exchange your near vision will go away and you will be unable to read with that eye.    You would need to be able to read without glasses in the unoperated LE. Even if you can there will be distances that will not be clear.  Think this one through before you have another surgery.

There is no BEST IOL just like there is no best automobile.  There is no BEST target for post operative uncorrected vision. There is no BEST cataract surgery.  There are so many cataract operations done that most surgeons are very skilled.
