What is this painful swelling in one lower eyelid?
When I woke up yesterday 17 hours ago my left lower eyelid was swollen and painful. There is a little redness. I am wondering what this is? Swelling has not gone down. Here is a picture

The most common thing with that history and appearance would be a stye. You might think of this like a pimple of eyelid gland. The most you can do is warm compresses, however they resolve faster with antibiotic drops and ointment. You would need to see a physician for that.
