Worried...

I was diagnosed with optic neuritis at age 12, and then diagnosed with bells palsy at age 13. After recovering from the bells palsy, I had no more symptoms until now at the age of almost 21. I am seeing spots, having headaches, having a hard time concentrating, having problems with memory, and I am felling very fatigued. I am getting worried that I have MS. I went to the opthamologist, and he wasnt worried because my optic nerve isn't swollen. Should I get a second opinion, or should I just sit around and wait to see if I get worse?

Have you heard of such weird conditions at such a young age? Am I at a higher risk for MS or any other nerve condition because of my history?

Dear Hannah,

I think you should see a neurologist as your symptoms go beyond the eyes themselves.
