after images

I have a peculiar problem of being able to see after images for a little more time than normal.Due to which my eyes are not able to accommodate  moving objects. Hence, I can see a series of bats when a cricket shot is played by a cricket batsman. Similarly If i move my hand or anything in my hand I can see the moving hand/object even after the hand/object has reached the new place and that moving hand/object merges with the hand/object at the new place in a second or two. Now I am finding it difficult to read properly if a matter is printed in while letters against black background due to overlapping of previous letters on to the subsequent letters. This problem is also experienced when very big letters are read( any background)just as in hoardings and cut-outs.

I have also the problem of floaters and  appearance of dark/bright circles while pressing  either eye from one corner. I have light sensitivity.

Please help me in diagnosing the problem: whether it is neurological or related to eyes. My vision with both eyes is normal and I do not use any lens or spectacles.
Thanks in advance.

Your problem is unusual but has been described. I'm sorry but I forget the exact term that optical neuro-physiologist use to describe it. I would suggest you see a neuro-ophthalmologist. Find one at www.aao.org
