body rejecting jones tube

HI, I had a jones tube inserted in my eye on Oct. 1, I had a follow up visit with surgeon today. My body is rejecting the tube. I have irration and itiching and general discomfort. The area is so swollen that the tube can't work and there is a bump (dr. said the name but I forget) of skin forming around the tube. It is very uncomfortable and I really hope it can be corrected. I am to take Lotomax for 2 wks then return to Dr. Has anyone had this experience? And if so what was the outcome/

I'm having the same kind of thing with my jones tube. It was working well, after the 1st 1 didn't, but i had to get this piece of tissue cut away from it & now it is growing back 2 weeks later. My eye is VERY red & i wake up every morning with super goopy gross eye boogers glueing my eye together.
I also seem to have a bit of double vision when i look to the left ( left eye has the tube). I go back to my eye surgen next Thursday, so hopefully we can figure something out.
