computer use, myopia and heavy upper eyelids

Hello, I've myopia since 2014 ( had 18-19 years back then ) and I would like to ask if its possible to feel eyestrain ( heavy upper eyelid in my case ) when u are up for about 2-3 hours and have been on tablet or using computer.. because those tasks are close-range tasks and I dont think its possible to get eyestrain after being awake for 2-3hours.. basically the weight of my upper eyelids keeps increasing if I dont rest with my eyes closed.. and why would throwing water to my eyelids refresh/relieve them ( would decrease the weight of upper eyelids ) for a short while? This kinda confuses me that doing close-range tasks shouldn't cause eye fatigue or at least not this much if my eye disease is myopia and not some other eye diseases...

Your reasoning is incorrect.   Distance vision takes far less "work" than near vision.   Not being able to see clearly at say 100 yards doesn't take any more work than somethign you can see at 30 feel.  However for near vision the eyes have to turn in (convergence) and focus (accommodate) and the work of convergence and accommodation  increases as things get closer and closer.  The ability of the eye to focus at near weakens throughout life and for those not needing glasses catches up with them in 40's (presbyopia) whereas many near sighted have to remove glasses to read. Prolonged reading or use of a computer tires the eye, just like standing on your feet for long periods of time tires the body and legs.    As we age and with obesity and some medical conditions the eyes get baggy and tiring to hold open.  I suggest you see an ophthalmologist and discuss.

Thank you for your answer, one more thing that I forgot to put on the thread was that when I use the glasses ( as I've myopia ) outside and look to far distances, really far if I dont squint the lower eyelids ( contract ) my eyes starts tearing even though I dont have any issue seeing far away ( no blur ) when using the glasses..
In bright environments that might indicate a sensitivity to light especially if you have large pupils and/or light iris (blue/gray/green). Once again you need to see an Eye MD ophthalmologist who can examine you.
