darker vision

hi

I am 26 yr femele , I have ahigh myopia, left eye= 11, right eye = 13, It has been a while since I noticed my left vision is a little bit darker than right, it dos not have a bright colore as right, I checked six months ago with ophtalomogist and even though I forgot to tell him about this problem he dilated my eye and he told me everything is fine, I did not tell him about this problem , I ma not sure if is serious?

This could possibly be an indicator of an optic nerve problem, a retinal problem or even a cataract.  It could be nothing at all.  I would make another appt. and explain your concern.  If all the testing turns out normal then OK and probably not too much to worry about.  You have said enough that I would check vision and refraction, pinhole acuity, check pupils, color vision, red saturation, complete eye exam, visual field testing, and possibly more tests like OCT if needed.  Good Luck.

I would definitely check back with the doctor. Get another exam and tell him what is going on. The symptoms are not normal. The doctor here may recommend another specialist.
