do not really have true double more like feint ghost images go to wilmer at johns hopkins docter made high power contact for affected eye he said be patient give it at least 4 to 6 months as the brain has to adjust is this correct i do not fully understand how the remark brain has to adjust really means and how can i tell if it is working thank you

i do have a very coplicated issues with eyes had 6 surgeries mostly detached retinas every doctor i go to says give it time for brain to adjust so thats what i am doing my doctor knows my historyso i think for awile will give it time very well educated harvard med school reidency at hopkins i go see my retina doc who also knows about this in april thank you doctor for the prompt answer no disrespect

4-6 months is a long time to "adjust".  If after 4-6 weeks you still feel you are unhappy either return to same Dr. or seek a second opinion.
