hi, im 19 and ive had 2 retina detachments over a period of 3 months due too a blow to the head. im a keen motocross and mountain bike rider. ive seen many doctors and most say that i will be able to ride again in 6 months but some have said to give it up all together or maybe a safer form of riding like moto trials be the way to go? what are the main risks?

what are the main causes if i ride? . trials is the safest form of riding all done at slow speeds. very safe sport to get into.might look harmfull at a high level but even then its still not a risky sport would that be the way to go ?

Ask your surgeon. I would say you should take up something less dangerous and potentially damaging to your remaining eyesight.
