Do you have any improvement? I did surgery 2 weeks ago and still have double vision. How old are you when you did your surgery?

Double vision after cataract surgery is so common as to be normal. In surgery because the eyes diverge (exotropia or 'wall eyes') it actually improves the success. Eye muscle surgery is very unique and individualistic and it is not possible to generalize. Don't despair and trust your surgeon.

Yes this is common especially in adults and yes it does usually go away. It is more common in people that have eyes that turn out (wall eye or exotropia) than in people that have surgery for crossed eyes (esotropia).

In some instances this actually improves the success of the surgery.
