My husband is blind so I am more aware of risks associated with eye surgeries. He lost his vision to aggressive glaucoma at 27 years of age. After going through 13 eye surgeries and a cornea transplant with him. I think I'll be takin' my time while looking for surgeons!!!
Yeah I figured out it was pretty rare and unusual. I have been trying to keep up with opthomology and surgeons that treat this kind of condition but its been difficult due to its rarity. I might need to just monitor a Marfan's forum for a while and learn about the surgeon referrals from there.

There are a number of very new techniques for dealing with a dislocated lens that will make the surgery much safer and more successful when you need it. Note this is unusual surgery and you may need to be referred to an eye surgeon that has skills/experience with the problem
