flashing light and blinded by light

I've been having some bright white flashing light in my eyes that last about 10-30 seconds when I look or go outside and then into a darker room.  I also had an episode today that I went outside and the light was so bright I could  hardly see anything but super bright white light.  It lasted a couple of minutes until I could get inside again and then the flashing started for about 20-30 seconds.  The flashing makes me dizzy and I'm getting dizzy at other times along with headache off and on.  Could this be an eye problem and if so, what could it be?

Your symptoms are very abnormal and suggest possibly a retinal disorder or inflammation of the eye.  Also, sometimes, even systemic diseases can make people light sensitive and dizzy. See a board-certified ophthalmologist and  your primary care physician.
