jones tube popping out

i have had a jones tube in for 10 years and it has been a huge success to a lifelong issue.  but over the weekend on a plane it slid out when i blew my nose.  i pushed it back in.  but am not sure how far in i shld push it, whether it is now dislodged seriously and needs to be professionally addressed, whether it could have got infected by being out and me pushing it back in.  my eye is a little uncomfortable, like a mild infection, but no pain or anything.

JodieJ is correct. If you live in the USA find an oculopolastic surgeon at www.aao.org   Also use the search feature and archives to read about Jones tubes and problems. See an oculoplastic surgeon ASAP.

You need to be seen by an oculoplastic surgeon.  If the doctor who did your surgery is not available or convenient, then see someone else.
