odds of having macular degeneration due to severe myopia?

I'm 19 and I have -16L and -18R myopia, what are the odds of me developing macular degeneration?If I do get it then will it cause complete vision loss?

If you live a normal lifetime and lead a healthy life (e.g. no smoke, good diet, not obese, etc0 probably less than 5%

NOTE: macular degeneration either age related or myopic does not lead to complete vision loss, only central reading vision loss.  You chance of going completely blind is nil.
