post lower blepharoplasty left eyelid droop

Two weeks ago I had lower blepharoplasty to remove dark circles.  Although I still have quite a bit of bruising and lumpiness on both sides of my face,  the right eye is looking better than the left eye.  The lower eye rim on the right eye pulls away from the eye slightly and at times there is a slight gap.   The doctor said this is a result of the skin  tone and eventually the eye socket will become more taunt as the swelling goes down.  I am seeing improvement on the right eye as indeed it skin is becoming a little more taunt. My main concern is the left upper eyelid doesn't open as wide as the right eyelid now.  I think the doctor pulled the skin in the corner of my left eye so tight it has pulled down the eyelid.  There has been no improvement on the left eyelid as the swelling slowly goes down and my vision in the left eye is blurred and the eye waters now.  What can be done?  The incision at the corner of my left eye is swollen and lumpy.  I assume the swelling and lumps will disappear as I heal but I'm concerned that when my eyes are open the left eyelid will not be open as wide as the right eyelid.  Can this be fix??

Hi. Two weeks is still a long way from being healed enough to ascertain how your eye's will look in the end. One eye has a different healing rate to the other. It is not uncommon in lower lid blepharoplasty for a tug of sorts (a pulling down appearence). Gently massage your skin up every now & then. Skin has to settle and the fat that was there isn't there anymore.

Ask your surgeon.  I do not know what you look like and what was done.
