recently changed my glasses

my prescription changed quite a bit and while I know my old glasses were not 'cutting it' anymore and noticed my vision was getting worse.
the new glasses I can see much better but I am finding them very disorienting and not really sure if it's an adjustment period as my vision is much better now or if something is wrong.
my new prescription is
od -2.25  -0.25   85 axis
os -2.50  -0.25   80  axis
my old glasses which are still wearable but noticeably not as good in terms of clarity
od -1.50     0.00   0
os -1.25     0.00   0

they are from 2013 and my prescription has remained fairly stable for 20 years only this last one seems very different been wearing glasses for 25 years and never felt so disoriented with them before but I've neve had axis on them before either is this normal adjustment or should I be looking at getting new glasses again?

Sounds like a normal adjustment period.  Some people take a little while to adapt to a new prescription.  Ask your doctor if you are concerned.

Did your doctor give you any other explanation as to why your prescription increased?  Do you have any other conditions that could have caused it?
