seeing weird swirls

For the past few days I have been seeing swirls only in my periferral (excuse my spelling) vision. The swirls are moving and are so distracting that it causes me to not be able to fcous on whatever subject i may be looking at. I also see spots. For the longest time I've experienced seeing black spots (almost as if you got up too fast) and get quite dizzy after a hard workout. I'm wondering if the 2 symptoms may be related? Also I have been working as a recpetionist and going to school full-time, so could it be from looking at computer screens all day? could it be stress?

In my direct view slightly up and to the right I see a moving spiral similar to a kaleidoscope its almost like the floaties you see but its always in the same spot and never moves. its about 1/2 inch round and a perfect circle but always moving in it self. I also see black spots from time to time I assume those are just the floaties though. I don't get migraines and hardly get dizzy.

I would stronly suggest you see an Eye MD ophthalmologist that specializes in retina disease.  If it is always there it is not migraine but it could be a retina problem like a vein occlusion or inflammation.

Last night I was laying down to sleep and my eyes were seeing what I can only describe as a swirly multi colored tube or worm hole like thing you would see in a Sci Fi  show I felt I could almost touch it but couldn't .. never had this happen to before  I am having medical issues at this time and was wondering if it's part of me being sick

Hi. Pleasee see an Opthamologist immediately. Seeing black spots is a symptom of someting sinister. Glaucome or optic nerve damage. Please don't waste time. The sooner you get a professional's advice & diagnosis...the sooner your eyesight can be treated and protected. Migraine, no migraine is irrelevant. Don't play this down.

I have had similar "swirling lights" myself.  Normally it is an ocular migraine.  Do you normally get a headache/migrane afterwards?  If so, that's what it is!

I would not attribute this to stress.  See an ophthalmologist.
