small gray area after vitrectomy for RD

I wanted to know from the Docs here and patients is anyone has experienced having a light gray area after an RD (vitrectomy with gas bubble). It's been 3 months after my surgery now and i am worried. I cant see past the light ray area.
Waht could this be?
will it go away?

I had a similar op, but I had the lens replaced as well.
I have this problem too - the vision has recovered well, apart from several areas that are grey. I am 9 weeks post op now.
