If you are having glare and halos after the cataract surgery, it may be related to the multifocal implant but I would be checked to see if new glasses are needed, especially for astigmatism, and also be checked to see if there is a posterior capsule opacification. From your pre-operative counseling you were likely informed of these possible side effects of the multifocal implant.
You may want to check back with your opthalmologist and ask about Fuchs' Dystrophy. For some reason it isn't always mentioned, but you're describing my problem and I was diagnosed with Fuchs' in July. If you look it up on line you will probably find all sorts of scary stuff that tell you it's inherited, incurable, and leads to blindness. It actually can be cured by corneal transplants so it isn't as drastic as it sounds at first. Good luck
