My husband has a swollen eye lid. It is red and it hurts and it is almost is wollen shut. It doe snot itch and there is nothing in his eye. I don't know what to do?

I have been having severe itchy and swollen eyes, it only seams to appear after having sex; is this a severe problem? I have never experienced anything like it before, I swell up so much that I am almost unrecognizable. The only thing that swells is my eyes even underneath.
