2010: January 0, February 0, March 0, April 0, May 0, June 0, July -end of month spotting, major pain/cramping, August Bleeding, cramping, faded (thought to be a miscarriage), September 0, October 0, November 0, December 0.

2011:  January 0 so far

It's very odd if you ask me. I never had a regular period but still it's been odd. I also have some symptoms of PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Symdrome). Such symptoms are the period issue (irregular or absent...mine are absent at the moment), acne-mainly chin/jaw line (definitely have that at times-never have acne anywhere else really-always have a baby face really), obesity (always have trouble with weight but history of eating problems so that could be part of it), unexplained weight gain/loss + not easy to lose or gain weight (definitely, but most women have that kind of issue I think), abnormal hair (the womanly mustache comes sometimes lol), skin tags-especially on the neck/armpits area(annoying things that I've gotten since I was about 15/16), elevated blood pressure (is high at times...in the past at least). There's other symptoms but some woman can have just the period problem and still have PCOS. I've read a lot about it and it can cause infertility.

I have tried not to get worked up over all the things it could be.  I just figure that I'm either not ovulating...or I am ovulating but the eggs are blocked somehow (PCOS can cause this I've learned).

Anything would be helpful. Thanks.

Thanks for responding.  I did have two tests done over summer (after my miscarriage stuff).  One was Thyroid and the other was a Glucose.  The Glucose was normal.  The Thyroid was very very slightly off.  They wanted me to go in for a redo test but considering it costs more money for such things, I didn't go.

Hi!
You do have some definite symptoms of PCOS.  If you were my patient, I would start with a few simple tests such as a thyroid panel, a prolactin level and an FSH.  Depending upon the results, I might consider some cortisol testing.  It is very important to have a period AT LEAST 4 times per year.  You should consider oral contraceptive pills or other methods to regulate your periods if you are not "trying" right now.  If you ARE trying, your doctor could likely help you out with some Clomid/Femara.
Good luck!
