Thanks for that information.I did a 21 progesterone test and I think it was 9. I just found it strange because growing up as a girl you believe that as long as you have a regular cycle everything is good with you.I often wonder could I have a regular cycle and not be ovulating?
Hi!
If you were my patient, I would do a cycle day 21 progesterone level. This checks to be sure that you are ovulating. Since everything else seems to check out OK, I would suspect that the problem lies there. It may be that you also need Femara in addition to Metformin. Many PCOS patients seem to ovulate, but sometimes the eggs are immature and don't fertilize well. If the Femara didn't get some results, I would probably suggest starting injectable meds to boost ovulation.
At your age, your chances are very good that you could have more than one child. You may just need to work ( even) a little harder.
Good luck!
