2 Quick Gonal F questions

1. Do you stand up or sit down when you inject Gonal F?

2. Once the medication thaws and you are done, do you put the Gonal back in the refrigerator or do you keep it at room temperature for the remainder of the cycle?

Thanks.

I use follistim and I sit down it hurts less for me if I sit.  And I guess I forgot to tell you that part on the other thread, put it back in the refrigerator when your done with each injection.  Do you start today?

Gonel-F needs to be refrigerated & if you have left over you must use again with next cycle within 28 days or it needs to be thrown away.  It is written in that paperwork that comes in box that its only good for that amount of time once opened.

Yes, I took my first injection this evening. I ended up standing up and doing the injection. It was not too bad. I think with doing it more will make me better at it.

It definitely gets easier and less nerve wrecking the more you do them.   Are you doing IUI this cycle?  I took ovidrel monday, going for IUI tomorrow at 7am.

I would stand, pinch my stomach and inject.  I agree it gets easier :)  Also, keep it refrigerated.
