Abnormal bleeding....help please!!

Hi everyone. So here's my story. I have been trying to get pregnant for approx 8 months. In march I have a cyst on my left ovary rupture it was extremely painful. About 6 days after that happened I started bleeding the first two days was light and barley there then for the next 8 days I bleed on and off, some heavy most light. I would all of a sudden get a little gush of deep red blood then it would taper off and be gone completely for hours sometimes a whole day or night with no blood at all. On the 9th day I went to see a doctor because I never bleed that long ( periods only 4-5 days) and I also wasn't due for my period for 10 days from the first day I started bleeding. Doctor did some blood tests including hcg beta test, the next day the results were negative so she then prescribed me a medication to stop thethe bleeding after 3 days on the pills it stopped. Now today only a week after the bleeding stopped I am bleeding again. The doctor never gave any sort of possible explanation and I have no idea what is happening with my body. Please if anyone has experienced this before could you please give me some insight. I am 29 with two kids and have had my period for 13 years and have never experienced anything like this before. Well, without a detailed clinical evaluation it would be difficult to determine the cause of your symptoms. Possibilities that may need to be considered include GU infections, inflammations, hormonal causes, growths/ masses, injuries/ trauma, ulcers/ erosions, haematological causes etc. Bleeding for more than 7-10 days would require an evaluation by a gynaecologist to look for secondary issues and depending on the cause diagnosed, it can be managed accordingly. Also if the bleeding is severe or one experiences additional symptoms such as dizziness etc., a visit to the ER would be suggested.
