Fetilaid is meant to be Fertilaid. Sorry. I talked to an acupuncturist today... I'm still curious what anyone who tried it thought. Please help. I am hesitant to spend unnecessary money if no one has had any luck with it... Thank you.
Please... Anyone? I really need some advice from people who know... Thanks.
HI there. In relation to the Fertilaid, I was looking into that too. AFter being on the website, it says it is not recommended for women doing IVF (taking medication), so would prob think that would apply to Clomid too, but am not 100% sure about that. Have a look on the frequently asked questions on the website to be sure.
I know it is ok for DH to take Fertilaid, as he would not be taking any medication. Good luck with it.
Hi there. I just scheduled 5 acupuncture appointments starting Wednesday March 25 and then every Wednesday after that for 4 weeks. It seems pretty affordable with this doctor, too. It's $75 for the first visit and $63 for each subsequent visit. We can totally handle that. I'm really excited about it. I'll let you know all about it unless you go before then :0)
I haven't tried acupuncture myself, but have heard a lot of success stories. I believe that it is supposed to align your chakra (ying/yang), but don't know anything beyond that.
I also looked at the FertilAid and there is also Fertlity Blend. Have not tried those either. But I am taking other vitamin supplements, namely my pre-natals and EPO.
I do hear you about the IUI and birthing. My DH is deathly afraid of dr's and hospitals, so it should be interesting. We are going to try 3 months of the Femara, then discuss IUI after that.
Hi!
I have heard that doing accupuncture can increase chances of success with IVF. When I first told my doc that I was doing accupuncture he said that it was good...many studies support it. I did accupuncture for the first of my 3 rounds of IUI. On that round, I had the best results.
I am doing accupuncture once a week between now and my IVF that is planned for June. It can't hurt is what I think... and if anything, I go there, get the needles in and then I get to relax for 45min. So, at least, it is making me take that time to chill out by myself once a week. I say check it out....and you don't feel the needles at all! Good luck.
Thank you for the replies. I appreciate all the input is appreciated. I wish it were less expensive. I think I will wait until my 3 cycles of Clomid are through and then if still no BFP I may give it a try. :) Sue please keep me posted on how it goes for you!!
