Hi, I have only had one cycle with the clomid & this is only my second so am not as expert as lots of the girls on here but for me personally I do have cramps with the clomid. I am CD8 today and have some lower side cramps. I don't remember having any after ovulation but they came back like little twinges 2 days before AF arrived. Good luck to you... sending you lots of babydust xxx

I'm 43 and just finished my first round of clomid, just waiting to see what happens.  I'm having some cramping so I think maybe this month is not the month.  Is it normal to have cramping after ovulation with clomid. I have faith, what should happen will happen.  Blessings to you all.

Hi silvermist517. I have been started on Chlomd 50g. All went well last month took CD5-CD7 and ovulated on day 16 with 31 day cycle. This month I have taken a few days CD3 to see if I can produce more eggs and increase my chances. I hate having expectations as dont like the disappointment it brings but am keeping my fingers crossed! How about you - are you on any fertility treatments? Deb x

Hi Nylena - huge congratulationons on your bundle of joy. I am really pleased you are going to think about giving baby #2 a try. I understand your anxiety with the amnio and was really shocked and saddened to hear what happened to you. I would hope given your concerns and past experience that you will be treated with caution if it was deemed necessary to have another amnio. I have just started a course of Clomid as it seems my cycles are a bit messed up from my miscarriage last year and am on cycle 2. I dont like it very much, makes me emotional irrational and prone to mood swings which is completely out of character for me as I am usually very focused and happy. I am happy to take it though if it increases my chances of pregnancy... no pain no gain! I don't know if I would call me amazing having 3 kids and wanting another - maybe crazy! Good luck with your decision I would love to keep in touch and see how it goes & will be keeping my fingers crossed for you xxx

Hi Debs40,I'm a young...42 and would like to ttc in the immediate future for my #2-I had  my dd a year ago.I am still hesitating maaaainly because of the stress that a very possible amnio at my age will cause me- I lost my first baby because of an ill-performed amnio.Still,I think I am going to give it a try...are you thinking ttc naturally or assisted reproduction? It's amazing you already have 3 kids and still have the energy to try again!
Good luck,keep posting.
