Am I suffering from 2nd infertility ?

I have had one child 16 years ago but I have NEVER became pregnenet agin.
Am I suffering from 2nd infertility?

I had a cyct removed 5 years ago along with scar tissue, my falopine tubes were pushed back and he corrected that and brought them forward. He also told me that my left tube was 50% blocked, he did not remove it.

Recently the cyct came back on the same ovarie, they said at the time it was to small to remove. I get abdominal pain sometimes through sex that I cant stand it, Sometimes my periods are so painful that it has me in tears soaking in the tub 3 or 4 times that night for like 2 days, I have to take perscription pain pills just to deal with this.

I wanted to have one more baby as my clock is ticking, my BF has children from a former marriage so he is ok..very fertile. We NEVER have used protection.

Could you PLEASE give me some insight into my situation? Do I possibly have endemetriosus( however you spell it)

Thank you.

Well, I am not seeing any special doctor as of right now, But I have made a DR APT for a refferal to see the specialist to see how far long I am with this cyct.

My BF and I have been together 3 years, But I was previously married 5 years ago for 7 years and NEVER comceived, nor did we use any protection.

I cant figure it out, The DR said my cervixs was sterdy and healthy and my right tube was 100% open. I Never use any kind of birth control and my BF has 5 older kids so its not like he ever had a problem " Go figure."

I went and bought some prenatal vitimens thinking maybe I am lacking something, But then I read on the whole " Over dose" thing and it scared me so I stopped taking them :)

I know I have always been low with iron but when I read what I did on the net it freaked me out. I invested in the vitiem B and vitimen C which is important in conceiving.
I have no idea what my fricken issue is here but its aggervating ya know!

I am 35 years old and I have no idea why I have not been pregenet agin, what do you think? have any ideas?

Its a total mystery to me honestly and I have looked up all kinds of possibilitys of the " Whys and what for's ."

Hi Jean,

You sound like a lot of us on here (including me). I have two older kids also and have been ttc for going on 2 years I guess.  I was on bc pills up until the last 2 years so I don't know how long I've had the problem.  Unfortunately, our bodies change so much as we age and it becomes harder.  It's not impossible but sometimes just harder and takes longer.  We need our doctors to help give us that little push with procedures and extra tests and stuff.  You can still conceive with one tube so you're not out of the game.  You can always consider IUI if you have a difficult time conceiving.

How long have you been trying?  In a normal couple with no problems it takes about 6 months to conceive.  So the older you get the longer it "may" take. I assume you're already seeing a specialist so you're right on track.

Good luck!

Trish
