Avoiding pregnancy

What times during my period can I engage in intercourse without fearing a possible pregnancy? I really do not want a child right now and am also very against abortions. A pregnancy would be a huge problem for me, and I just want to know when it would be most safe to have sex, despite condoms, birth control, etc. Thank you so much for your time!

It really depends on your periods. If they are by the book normal you have Windows of opportunity but if your cycle is irregular by even a couple days you could be ovulating anytime. As the previous poster said you can use ovulation prediction kits however sperm can live inside you for up to a week so you may want to keep that in mind if you are not wanting to use protection of any sort.

During your non fertile days and ovulation.  You can buy ovulation test to know when you are ovulating. Also get on birth control and have your partner use a condom.
