Need weight loss suggestions before TTC/PCOS

Hi all, PCOS, TTC #2 for about 15 months. Did 7 rounds of Clomid/Ovidrel in past year with no success. I have been leary to move to injectables. We took some time off but now ready to go again! Just completed Provera regimen and waiting for AF...planning to do just one round of Clomid 100mg/Ovidrel/IUI and then move to injectables. I would like to try and lose a few pounds in the coming week or two. Any good suggestions? I've been onWeight watchers on and off this year but my weight has stayed about the same overall. doing serious point counting this week and increased activity. any other suggestions? thanks!

NO SUGAR AT ALL!!!!!!!! (sugar, white bread, white rice, etc) Plus reduce SALT intake as well

walk, walk, and walk (run if you can or do interval training:walk, fast walk, run combination).... drink a lot of water..... Try to drink one full glass of water before every meal, eat more vegetables and fiber (if i don't take Metamucil I'm doomed:) ), an egg white omellete for breakfast, salad for lunch with some protein (beans or something) and lean protein, good fat and vegetables for dinner) for a week or so, have a day of non-diet happiness and go back.... I try to have snacks like almonds and dry fruit with me because you need to eat something every 4 hours or so.
If you brake it it does not matter, next meal you eat the healthiest possible and walk, walk and walk.
For me there are not magic pills..... you eat bad and don't move, you gain weigh... it is very simple yet so hard for most women,,, WHY??? because we eat our feelings... we are bored, we eat, we are sad, we eat, we are angry, we eat,,,, food is comfort so when you feel like eating ask yourself: am I hungry? then wait five minutes and see if you feel the same... distract yourself, drink water, go outside etc.... if you are still hungry; eat healthy and stop when you are full.
I was a mess under fertility drugs and gained 10 pounds that I later lost, but weight is always a struggle for most women and we just have to do our best and move more.... much more!
BTW, I gained some back so I'm again trying to eat as healthy as I can and moving more:)  Every morning I run for 15 minutes and it keeps me happy and craving less food throughout the day, but like any woman. I have my moments :)

I wish you have a baby soon:)

good luck

All women with PCOS have difficulti on losing weight. PCOS gives you double trouble with the weight, cause you gain it easy and it is difficult to lose it. That is why we take metformin. Is a medicine that helps you with the weight lose and  to control the hormones. It is a diabetes medicine but it is prescribet to PCOSers. Talk to your doctor about it and ask for a prescription and with diet and excersize along with this med you will lose the weight. Good luck
