Calling All Women of Strength!!!

A Strong Woman VS. A Woman Of Strength

A strong woman works out every day to keep her body in shape…
But a woman of strength builds relationships to keep her soul in shape.

A strong woman isn't afraid of anything…
But a woman of strength shows courage in the midst of fear.

A strong woman won't let anyone get the better of her…
But a woman of strength gives the best of herself to everyone.

A strong woman makes mistakes and avoids the same in the future…
A woman of strength realizes life's mistakes can also be unexpected blessings and capitalizes on them.

A strong woman wears a look of confidence on her face…
But a woman of strength wears grace.

A strong woman has faith that she is strong enough for the journey…
But a woman of strength has faith that it is in the journey that she will become strong.

Hey ladies! :) I'm back from my appt. and have wonderful news!! I talked to my doctor about inducing me, and guess what?!  She's inducing me around 36 weeks, yay!! :) I'm so excited, so little Adalynn will be here right after Thanksgiving, which is perfect! I now don't have to worry about her coming on Kayln's birthday, and I'll be feeling great by her birthday and Christmas! It's funny to  think that she'll be almost a month old when her due date rolls around! :) It'll be almost like a dream, actually being able to bring a baby home after all we've been through! I'm just so thankful and happy, and now that's 4 less weeks I have to wait for our baby girl!! Yay!!!!!!! :) We didn't do an u/s today, and my doctor said honestly we probably won't do anymore, unless her growth slows down or something is wrong. She said from her morphology scan, she's doing absolutely great on everything, which is a big relief! :) So we just did the h/b today, and got a lot of question's answered. My next appointment isn't until Sept. 8, 4 weeks instead of 2, which I'm ok with b/c we'll be doing my diabetes test, and then my appointment after that, I get my rhogam shot b/c I'm rh negative, so I get a shot at 27 weeks, and then again after birth. Oh, they also found Strep B in my urine, which just means that when I'm in labor, I have to have antibiotics to prevent Addy from getting phnemonia when she's born. Gosh, sorry that was so long! ;)

Stacey- Thanks for the note! :) Now I'm just so ready for November, lol! ;) I'm so excited for you for tomorrow, what an exciting day!! I know you've been waiting for this for a looonng time! ;) And how awesome to think Jake will be here in just a matter of hours vs days! :) So Happy early Birthday, Jake! We all love you already!!! :)

Mrspace- Wow, that is an awesome temp jump! And no spotting... I'm getting excited!!! :) I'll go check out your chart!

Mommyin10- Thanks for the note! :) I was ready to see her today, but got great news instead, and it just made my day! :) Oh, and I guess I forgot to mention today is Sean's and I 2 year wedding anniversary! Oops! :) I guess I've had baby on the brain too much lately! lol ;) We're half way to your appointment day! Yay!! I'm praying so hard you get to see 2 h/b's! What an awesome sight that will be! ;)

Scripps- I know how scary that is, to have that brown discharge! I had it every month for 3 months ( like when AF was due, and I had it for 2 days every 30 days). And everything was ok! Some women just do that, b/c they're so used to having a period, and the ER doctor said that when it was happening to me, that there was a wall in my uterus that hasn't recognized my pregnancy yet?! But my mom did the same thing when she was pregnant with me, but she did it every month for 7 months! Maybe see if you are able to get in for an u/s here? The fact that you're not cramping and bleeding is a great sign! Even though it is super scary, it's normal! Just relax as much as possible. :)

Candie- Well... I'm sitting here wondering if you decided to start your femara this next cycle or not? :) I hope you are feeling better!

** just a side note:  For those of you who may be confused by one of my entries yesterday.  I am not lactating.  It's like I'm lactating, but it's a little different.  When I'm on clomid, I occasionally get what's called galactorrhea.  It's where my body produces too much prolactin, and I start producing small amounts of breast milk.  It's not a sign of pregnancy.  Granted, the sore boobs and swollen nipples might be a sign of pregnancy. I am not ruling that out.  But for those of you who wanted to know, there is your answer.  It IS possible to lactate when you are not in your late months of pregnancy, or if you've just had a baby.  I was just letting you all know what my body is doing right now.  We all like to keep updated on each other, so I was just putting it out there.  Sorry for any confusion.

SSBD to all, and prayers to all those mommies to be (Stacey, especially today and tomorrow!)

Rachjas: I'm so sorry...Please know our houghts and prayers are with you and dh :-(

Mommyin10: How are you feeling? When is your next appt?

Mrspace: Awesome on the temp spike! When do you plan on testing?

Stacey: Good luck tomorrow and I will look for your update!! I can't believe he will be here tomorrow!!! YAY!!

Sorry I've been MIA - Sat and Sun I didn't have my computer b/c of the DJ'ing thing - we use my laptop to play the songs through our system. It was fun though! Yesterday I ended up with a migraine - it actually started about 11pm Sunday night which was really cra ppy b/c it was hard for me to sleep with a pounding head. It finally went away about 6 last night. I'm not sure I've ever had one that bad before. I hate taking meds but I ended up taking 6 tylenol (throughout the day, not at once) - I didn't want to take the max does of 8  so I held out lol. Nausea seems to be better. I feel like I'll feel like I'm going to get sick right then and there, but as long as I have a mint or something then it passes quickly. BBS still feel like they are going to hit the floor anytime I move even at night (they wake me up!!) So I ended up sleeping in a sports bra last night - helped a little. Oh, Sunday night our water heater decided to go out also. He went downstairs to let the dogs out and I hear ******* **** and there was hot water spraying everywhere...so he's been trying to install a tankless heater since yesterday...Try cleaning and laundry with no hot water! We had to take showers at the neighbors last night! Well, goinig to get off here for a bit, lunch is ready!! Have a great day!!

Hugs, Love and SSBD to all :-)

rachjas: I am so sorry to hear your news.  You have been through so much already in your fertility efforts.  You do have youth on your side, so you have a lot of time to keep trying, although I hope you will not have to wait long.

guesito: It must be very hard to try to sort out what is right for you, your daughter, and your future grandchild.

mrspace: It sounds like you are pregnant.  I hope you are.

stacey: All the best to you.

mommyin10: glad everything is going so well.

Yesterday, I woke up at 1am to go to the bathroom and had some brown discharge.  I figured I must be losing the pregnancy.  However, it went away after a few hours.  Last night and today there is nothing.  I have taken 3 pregnancy tests since then: one yesterday afternoon, one last night, one this morning.  All positive, although I realize the tests are very sensitive, so be sure they aren't picking up leftover hcg, I'll have to wait for several days.  I do not have cramps or bleeding, although my lower abdomen feels like I have been doing situps when I shift positions.  My breasts are still sore.  I'm not sure what to think, wondered if any of you have knowledge or experience with such a phenomen.  Yesterday was 4 weeks since the embryos were created, probably 2 1/2 since they implanted.

OK ladies.  I read all of your posts daily and I am amazed at how you can keep everyone straight.  Well here I sit today wondering who can make me stop throwing up???  This morning I tried to eat plain toast and ginger ale for breakfast and you guessed...I threw up straight ginger ale.  I went to the pharmacy and luvkalyn, you're right, no pepto but take tums.  Those didn't work.  I bought the sea bands and those didn't work.  I did find MINIMUAL relief from peppermints.  Maybe it's the combo.  I am so hungry my hands are shaking but everything I put in, comes back out.  I questioned my DH last night and asked him if his sperm was at some point poisoned LOL.  He thinks I'm funny.  Around bed time I am finally just nauseated and when I sleep I don't get sick so as you can guess all I want to do is sleep.  I really never knew it could be this bad!  I am thankful for everyday that I carry this baby but I sure wish I was just a little less miserable.  Hugs to all the others in my shoes....blahhhh
