We decided not to go back to the hospital after we left at 6:30 p.m.  Instead, we ran errands, stocked up on diapers and wipes & came home to eat dinner & get some rest.  I just called the hospital and Ava has gained weight.  She was exactly 2000 grams, which means she'll get her Hepatitis B shot at her 3:00 a.m. touch time.  Richard had his circumcision today & so they're all set to come home today!!!  I just woke up to call the nurse & to pump & then I'll get some rest before our exciting day begins :)  We'll definitely spend the morning getting our bedroom clean & the dog bathed, etc.  I'll post when we get the babies home & situated :)

well ladies I am back from my Ob.....and the diabetic specialist. I do have GD.....I am on bedrest for a week. The baby is really low and putting pressure on my cervix which is causing it to shorten. So I go back after a week to see if it has helped. I am just so sad today. Please keep us in your prayers. My triple screen came back good. I am hoping DH will get my computer in my room so I will have something to do besides watch tv. Well talk to you soon.

michelle- congrats.  it is so normal to be nervous.  i was waiting for the floor to fall out from underneath me too when i got my BFP with jaedyn.  take it day by day and try to do things to keep yourself busy.  rest and enjoy it as much as you can.  March 22 will be here before you know it.

luvkayln- we need to FB request eachother.  sorry you are looking for day cares.  its tough sometimes with family members.  one day they are all about helping out and other days they are grumpy.  i have jaedyn in a small home day care where he gets lots of attention and best of all its one of my friends aunts so i feel very comfortable with her watching him.  and she only charges me 125$ a week.

It has been a while since I have been on....Nothing really new here! It is hard to believe I am half way there! We finally have our names picked out, the boys name was easy Conner Jamison and for a girl it was really hard for me to decide, but after going over and over different names we finally decided on Jenah Darlene. Which my DH loved! My mother in laws middle name is Jean so that is scrambled up in Jenah and my sisters middle name is Darlene.
So I go back to my OB tomorrow....I am hoping she is going to schedule an u/s REAL soon.....because I want to know if it's a boy or girl!!!! I had talked to her nurse a few weeks ago  about ordering me an u/s and she said that my OB said it was too soon since I had one at 11 weeks! So I am praying that she will let me have one with in the next few weeks!
Well I will update as soon as I get back tomorrow.

luvkayln: Sorry you're having to look for daycare. I know it's difficult, but I'm sure you'll find the right fit for Addy ;) It's funny about your mom & Sean's mom. You'd think they'd both jump at the chance to watch her, hold her, love her :) I forgot to upload the pic of Ricky looking up at me! I'll try to remember today. It's dh's b-day :) He's planning to go to work, but he makes his own schedule & can go for as little or as long as he wants. This way, he's not using his leave yet. He'll start that when I go back to work in June :) Well, I hope you got enough sleep for work! :)

Keyan: Thanks for the pic comments :) We had a good weekend. Dh 's
mom came to visit on Sat & my parents on Sun. It's funny because they all expected us to be overwhelmed & need their help desperately. We kept telling them we'll be fine, but they didn't believe us... Now they do & we really do have it under control :) Having the babies on a schedule makes a huge difference, I'm sure. We changed it a bit from the hospital & we're able to take one hour & get both changed, fed & back to sleep ;) Yesterday Ava was really sad, crying her tiny little cry ;( Turns out she needs more food, poor girl. She was hungry. I breast-fed her, then she still ate at her normal time one hour later & then she was perfectly content!

Luvkayln: I am really sorry you are having to look for daycare, I can imagine the worry to find a good place where you can trust Addy's care. I hope you lucky and do find a great place for her! About my 2ww....I had to ck today, I didn't really know what DPO I was, I can't beleive it's almost over, AF should be here on Wednesday, if so, then we will get do our chest x-ray on thursday or friday.

Mommyin10: I agree with Luvkayln, I love to read your stories about the babies! How was your weekend? I am doing good...is getting really hot here, we didn't do much over the weekend, we had a very busy week, last week, so we opted to rest during the weekend. Can't wait for the pics!

Keyan- Everything's good here! :) As I posted on FB, it's getting hard to find babysitters lately, especially during the day! I'm going to look into daycare today... :( I really didn't want to have to so early... It was a perfect plan when Sean was working nights, but now that he's working days and so am I, we're having a hard time to find someone we trust to watch addy. Plus, his mom acts like it's an inconvenience to watch her on Mon/Tues which are her days off. I understand she wants her time, but my mom can't get enough of her... Anyway, your 2ww is almost over! I know you're more excited about the adoption, but you know we're still holding out hope! ;)

Mommyin10- I love hearing you talk about your babies! :) I can just feel the love you have for them! ;) I think it's cute you love Ricky's fussiness! I remember I felt the exact same way as soon as we had Addy, b/c she has this VERY girly cry! It's SO adorable! :) I remember saying how much I loved it, and everyone said you won't love it at 2am, but I really still do! lol! :) Addy's been doing really good at night, sleeping through the night, but it's 1am now and I'm up with her, well, she's in her swing right now. The past 2 nights she's been going to bed a little early and waking up around midnight to eat, but she's still pretty much on a schedule. :) So are you starting to get a little adjusted to having the babies home? :)

I got my bfp....I'm just really nervous and anxious about it! I'm so scared everytime I go to the bathroom that I'm going to see blood. I'm totally tramatized after the last bfp and the bleeding I had for 9 months. I'm just trying to stay as positive as I can :-)

My first ultrasound is march 22 and I am anxiously waiting to see a "baby with a heartbeat"

Everything's going well here :) I'll try to post pics later today! I tried taking one after feeding Ricky. I like to hold him up on my chest after to help his acid reflux before putting him down in bed. dnikki: It's good to hear from you :) My little ones have their first appt with their pediatrician on Wed. Congrats on Peyton sleeping through the night. Because ours aren't even full term til April, they're on a strict schedule, so we have to wake them upbto eat, but it's going really well :)  I think because dh is so involved (and is taking the 2 a.m. feedings) I can get a bit of sleep & have felt great during the day :) Take care!!!

keyan: Bendito is right! Poor boy ;) I never understood the "baby smell" til now. I never liked it with other people's babies. Now I get it ;) I haven't posted new pics yet. I'll try to today. My mil came over yesterday & my parents are coming by today, so we'll see.  How are you doing??

I am so excited that everyone is doing so well.  I miss the forum like crazy but it's been good to get away from TTC.  We've had a lot going on.  I am getting ready to start birth control again. DH and I had a long talk and with finances, and my emotional health, we are going to continue taking time off.  It's just smart for us.  I'm actually excited about it.  I've lost 20 lbs so far and I have just under 60 more to go.  So I'm excited for that!

I will update again soon, but thank you all for all the great support.

Things are going ok.  I am sooo ready to be done being pregnant.  The BH are painful and since they stopped the meds to relax my uterus I am in constant back pain and cramps but what can you do.  If she doens't show up on her own soon they are goingto take her c section on April 1st.  She is in fact breech so at my appointments he does an u/s to see if she flipped but she hasn't.  I can feel her little mellon in my rib cage.  LOL.  Only 18 days to go for SURE.  I can't wait.  DH and I lay in bed and talk about what she'll look like all the time.  :)  I hope things are well your way.  You've been quiet so you must be busy with your little one.  Take care!

AFM: Sorry I haven't posted lately - very busy! If this tells you anything, I started typing this post at 1 this afternoon and it is now almost 7 lol!! We are all doing great here - Peyton is growing like a weed!! She had her 1month appt. last week and weighed in at 8lbs6oz and she also grew 2 1/4 inches!!! She slept through the night for the first time last night and it was wonderful lol :-) She's starting to be more awake during the day which makes me that much busier lol! We are so thankful that we are so blessed with 2 little ones :-) I know it will happen for each and every one of you! I want to thank you all again for all of your support over the past 2yrs!!! I'll check in again later!

You're so right! Omg, his fussiness is so darn cute to me. Everyone else is, like, what a handful ;) but he's so funny & just lets us know he wants something. When he calms down, he just looks at you with so much expression in his eyes & on his face... It's awesome :)

sbumblebee- my incision is also very small.  they do such a great job now with making it not too noticeable.  the pain goes away fairly quickly after a c-section, within 2 weeks or so but every once in a while you get random pains there.  but honestly i would do it again without a thought:)

mommy- thats great that daddy is helping out at night.  it does make such a difference when you can sleep a few solid hours straight.  thats funny that Richard screams, but even baby screaming is cute in its own way.

leighanne: Yes, they generally sleep well between feedings, but Richard was super fussy his first night. I say fussy, but I mean he was screaming bloody murder! ;) It's ok. That's his personality! I am sleeping when they are & last night was actually so much better because daddy dud the 2 & 3 a.m. feedings! :) Made a huge difference in how I feel this morning :)

babymadd: Yay for AF not keeping you waiting :) We'll all be here to stalk your chart & get you through another cycle!

sbumblebeeo: You don't need to apologize for taking my time! :) I know you're in pain. All I can say is to hang in there... I know it's easier said than done, but you'll forget all about it once she's here :) Yes, I'm still bleeding. My ob said it could last 6 weeks. It's not as bad as it was in the beginning. I am still sore, but it's not around my incision. It's mostly my uterus as a whole. It contracts when you pump & breastfeed. Also, I forget to take my pain pills & I'm constantly doing stuff all day. So, by the end of the day. I'm in a lot of pain. I had an appt with my ob on Tuesday & she removed the tape strips from my incision. My incision is actually very small & looks like I'll never notice it, if that helps any ;)

mommyin10-  I won't take a lot of your time but I am so happy to hear that you and the twins are home and working on figureing each other out.  I have no advice for you since I'm still hanging in there being pregnant.  UGH.  I'm ready for her to be out!  I can't wait to see pictures but I know medhelp can be very difficult to upload pics to for some reason.  My appointment was fine.  She is still breech and he didn't check me this week bc he didn't want to disturb things.  We go back next week for another u/s and then he'll check me for sure.  Last night was..... horrible.  My back hurts so bad no and the cramps are moving up my belly.  I cried in my sleep and when DH left for work this morning I broke down and bawld.  I just hurt so bad I can't hardly stand it.  I took some Tylenol and it helped a little.  I can't believe the doctor is just going to let me live like this.  Oh well.  It will be over soon (not soon enough) and I'll be home with her.  It's been three weeks for you already.  I can't believe that!  How's the bleeding going?  Did it stop yet?  Just wondering what to expect.... and are you all better and not sore around your incision anymore?

OK I said short.   You need rest!  Enjoy your babies!!!!!

mommy- the routine will start soon. but anytime they both nap at the same time, take the time to nap yourself for the first few weeks.  dishes, house cleaning and other things can wait.  thats the best advice i can give you.  dont try to do it all because you will crash.  thats great that they are feeding well and carmelo likes them.

It was nice to have our babies home with us for their 3-week birthday! :)  Our first night was a bit rough, but okay ;)  We didn't get much sleep because they eat every three hours & they eat one hour apart from each other, so that leaves 1 1/2 hours in between feedings.  Since Richard was so fussy, he didn't allow for sleep in those 1 1/2 hours...  We'll forgive him, though!  It was his first night in a new environment :)  They both did much better once we hit 6:00 a.m. and they're doing great now.  I can see that we'll get into a routine, so it'll get better.  I've been trying to feed Ava just after Richard, so they're closer together, and then we'll have more time in between.  She's done great her last two feedings.  Fingers crossed :)  Carmelo is very curious & I don't totally trust him when I'm holding & feeding a baby (probably because I'm new to this & don't completely trust myself yet).  Anyways, I put him out of the room when they feed.  Otherwise, he's hanging out, looking very intrigued by all the new sounds :)  At first, he didn't realize there were babies here & he so he was sniffing the cat, trying to figure out what the new noises were :)  dh went to work for a few hours & should be home soon.  Everything went smoothly in his absence.  We have the babies first pediatrician appt next Wed.  

Keyan:  I'm sorry you have that "sign"!  Hopefully it's a false message ;)  but if not, that's good you'll be focused on getting your adoption application in!  

Stacey:  I can't wait to go places and do things with our litlte ones!  How fun that must be for both of you :)  We did meet a couple in the NICU who have boy/girl twins & live very close to us!  Their babies were right next to ours, so we exchanged info & plan to get the kids together some day :)  How old was Jake when he could use his exersaucer?
