I had an HSG and found out that both tubes were blocked. Unfortunately if both tubes are blocked you can not get pregnant naturally. I went through IVF and now I'm 5 months long with twins.
If you had right ovary removed and left tube is blocked, you will probably not be able to get pregnant naturally. You need to have working ovary and open tube on the same side to conceive naturally. HSG is the best way to find out if the tubes are blocked or not and sometimes if it's slightly blocked the HSG procedure clears out the blockage. Good luck!
YES! you can get pregnant even though one of the tubes are blocked, as we release egg every month from one tube, there is a chance of success for you every other month, naturally if you try, it may take more time, so you may need some help from the doctors to track the egg release and etc, an OBGYN might be able to help, if he can't then you may need to see a reproductive endochronologist. good luck.
